Great If You're Strictly A Down-Picker
One would expect the 003 to have a similar bevel to the Dunlop Jazz III, given the "pick is the same size and shape as the one it looks like." Well, it does not. The 003 has what I am assuming is the 80 degree bevel that Gravity touts on their website. The problem is that the bevel is only on one side of the pick. The other side actually has less of a bevel than the original Dunlop… read more Jazz III. So, what does this mean? Well, if you are an alternate or economy picker, the upstroke will feel and sound different than the downstroke. From a design perspective, this makes absolutely no sense, as most people pick in more than one direction. So like I said, it's great if you're strictly a down-picker, but if you're expecting consistent feel and tone in every direction, you're better off spending the $ on a dozen Dunlop Jazz III's. By the time all 12 of them wear out, you would have lost this pick anyway.

Long time jazz III user ive been always reading reviews of the acrylics.Bought some of these and sunrise...have to say these thing's are clear as a bell...nothing but clear guitar tone comes through to my ears...like a blankets been removed,cuts clean like a knife.I think im a fan...Reccomended!
