A very heavy cable

Definitely high quality, but such a thick cable in a coil means that you are carrying a lot of extra weight when you hold your guitar.

I have both this "deluxe" Fender cable with the fabric wrap and the "classic" version without. Based solely on the weight of this cable (which makes it very cumbersome) I would recommend saving yourself some $ and buying the classic version without the fabric wrap.

This is definitely a heavy duty cable. Unlike the coil cords of the sixties, which were flimsy and light. This cord is heavy to the point where you feel it pulling down on your guitar. Still, I'm glad its heavy because it doesn't make since to buy a top of the line guitar and amp and run your signal thru a $10.00 cord. I would buy it again.
