I'm usually skeptical about "tangle free" claims, but these seem to be just that. I really liked the construction of American Stage cable plugs, but their tendency to coil can really screw with you. They flip onto my pedal board and spin the knobs; picture the darned cable flipping on to your pedal board, and spinning your rhythm tempos down on your Trio Plus pedal while you are… read more playing. Multiple times. Pure Frustration. The PRS Classic are well constructed, surprisingly light, seem adequately terminated (we'll see how they hold over time), but most importantly they move with you flawlessly. I'd use American Stage anywhere in my chain that is supposed to stay put, but that final connection to my guitar will be the PRS Classic for now.
