112CP 1x12" Closed/Ported Cube Extension Cabinet Review

Sounds Huge

This cab is ready to deliver. It sounds so full and very articulate, I would take it on a gig in a heartbeat. Clean, loud and doesn't sound boxy; actually sounds like a 2 x 12" cab. Outstanding!

Bogner Cube

This cab is responsive and can resonate your filings out of your teeth like a half stack. Don't let the size fool you. It has a wide tonal range- right now I'm running the Bogner Atma through it and this cube can handle everything I throw at it. And...it has a classy look as well. Bogner 1x12" Closed Ported Cube - Aesthetics

I purchased this cabinet to compliment the Bogner Barcelona head. At first I was contemplating the larger 1x12" Bogner cab, but decided to go with this cabinet for a few reasons: 1) tighter low end response 2) smaller size. As of today the Barcelona head is on back order, so I cannot review the tone of the cab just yet. However, this cabinet has numerous reviews online since… read more it is simply a new tolex covering and grill cloth version of the original Bogner 1x12". If you like V30's, you'll like this cab. I am writing this review to critique the tolex covering in particular. I found one website that reviewed the tolex poorly. However, I can honestly say that the pictures on SW.com do accurately portray the tolex as it is in person. If you like the pics, you'll like the product. The weight is perfect for me. The top handle perfectly fits my hand. I love the large rubber feet as well. I have absolutely no complaints with this cab. It is representative of the high quality you can expect from Bogner. FYI: I used to own an Ecstasy head and 4x12" cab. This cab did not disappoint me.
