Absolutely Revolutionized my Playing
This k&m acoustic guitar performer stand is an absolute must have for advanced players. It is by far the most ergonomical set up I've ever played. I had a super bad skateboarding accident at 20 years old that resulted in hip surgery. I no longer could play classical guitar with the traditional foot stool or any alternative "ergo support" without some major soreness the next day.… read more I tried standing and using a strap but found similar hip discomfort issues as well as a host of other shoulder, elbow, wrist pain etc. Also, as a singer-songwriter, the guitar fingerboard moves around during inhales with straps, which is lame! I need that puppy stable while I'm crooning! So… I can finally take big in-breaths needed for singing while playing without the fingerboard moving. For the first time since my teens playing acoustic guitar doesn't result in sore tendons and creaky joints. It seems most people get this for on stage settings to be able to switch quickly to acoustic without removing the electric guitar. While that is also a noble pursuit , I implore you acoustic guitar playing singer songwriting types who may have dabbled in classical guitar to try this and not just be flabbergasted by how much easier it makes life. 6 out of 5 stars.
Walk up guitar stand
Absolutely great and beautiful Walk Up Guitar Stand. Very sturdy and safe for use with an acoustic guitar!
Guitar stand
I was looking for a device that would work like the famous Aguado tripod guitar stand. The K&M fits the bill perfectly. This stand holds my classical, Martin, and electric guitars securely in both sitting and standing positions, thus making it easier on my back and torso to remain comfortable for long practice and teaching sessions. The stand is sturdy and secure; highly recommended.
Rock Solid
How did I do without this? I bought this to support a deep-bodied Ibanez EW-series acoustic guitar on stage for songs that need both acoustic and electric guitar. I can sling my Les Paul to my back and reach over the Ibanez and start to play, no problem. The Ibanez has a deep body - 5" or so - but the clamp system expands to hold the guitar securely but gently. The stand itself… read more has a wide stance and is very stable - no worries about being tippy. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it does the job beautifully. Very happy with this stand!
Leaves nothing to be desired.
People may pay greater prices for a video camera tripod, so the tag doesn't feel steep when the product works so perfectly. Takes about 45 minutes to set it up just right the first time, then it's a dream come true.
