I think this stuff is great. It never leaves waxy, smudgy steaks or any kind of buildup (Montan wax, never again/ no thanks.) and its gentle enough to use on the every day. But it cleans very well also. As long as you keep your fret woods conditioned annually, this won't dry the wood out either. Good for metal and gold plated appointments too and Richlite fretboards.. Maybe a small issue to some people, but I can't stand to have junk or grit building up on my guitar neck or bridge (OCD!) and like a good presentation of our belongings when I play live at Church or with my band onstage. Martin cleans and polishes better than anything else out there, finishes on all brands of guitars and basses look rich, nice, with long-lasting sheen, gives… read more a nice vintage smell.

When it comes to my Martin I won't use anything else. The shine this gives my D-41 is just amazing. Martin can do no wrong so you owe it to your instrument to use such a great cleaner/polish.
