I have this paired with a 50W Origin head. This is the sound I have been searching for. Clean and articulate at low and medium volume, creamy feedback at higher gain. I can make it sound any way I want at the 20 watt setting just with the guitar volume knob. Add pedals and everything is at your fingertips and toes.

Just purchased this Marshall 1960AHW cabinet to compliment a 1987X Plexi head. Lots of sparkle and midrange punch, with good definition. Notes are very articulate and percussive. Attention to detail and quality of construction is apparent. Plans in the future to go vertical with the addition of the straight 1960HW "B" cabinet. Searching far and throughout the land, I longed to find a worthy 4x12. During my search, I came across many cabinets. Telling myself "only the best will do" was my goal. Eureka. Finally I struck gold and found a cabinet worthy of the title Dark Lord of the Cabinet. The Marshall 1960AHW Angled is the best built and best sounding cabinet I've ever heard, touched, or seen. Simply amazing. I have played thru hundreds of cabinets over the last 45 years. This is the best sounding and best built cab I've ever used. No matter what amp I use, they all sound very rich and articulate. I play mostly a 10lb Gibson LP Trad 120 anniversary model. Sometimes I play a Am Deluxe Fender Strat with CS Fat 50s.
