I own just about 1 of everything. 12 cabinets with each type of speaker, 13 amps in every category, 26 guitars of each type. You name it! Over the last 2 years I've been changing speakers, wiring, and buying cabinets. Trying everything to get that sound I'm looking for. I play all types of music from super clean to super high gain. No matter what configuration I tried, it just… read more wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Until I got one of these! I have cabs with greenbacks in them. But this is the one! I realize tone is subjective, but the BX Marshall Cab sounds amazing with every amp, at every gain level. Just sitting on its wheels, not even broken in. Dare I say it's just perfect! All my other cabs ( including the AX cab) are so sensitive to where they are placed. That does matter but this cab, sitting in the middle of the room, on its wheels just gives in every way! If you're looking for an overall cab that sounds amazing with everything, this is it! It's the only one you really need. It ant cheap but its cheaper than buying a bunch of cabs when this is the only one you need.

I bought this for sound quality rather than volume, although volume is available. I connected this to a Fender Champ Pro X2 to play my PRS through. It sounds great.

This 1960BX cabinet is great. The tone is smooth and sweet. Not as tight and percussive as my modern style Marshall cabs. So far, I've tried it with my SV20H and my Origin 50H and it drips with great classic Marshall tone. This Greenback-loaded cabinet has that sweet sound that we've all heard on so many classic rock songs. A perfect pairing with the 1987x or SV20h. Even my Origin 50H sounds amazing through this cab. Sweetwater sent it via FedEx 2-day. Free. Sweetwater is hands down the best. Loving this cabinet!
