Great sounding cab

This cab sounds great with MOST of my amps. I don't care for my recto through it but other than that, I love it. LOTS of lower mids and mids, definitely sounds bigger/fatter than any other 2x12 I've owned or played through. Cab doesn't sound like your boring run of the mill v30 cab, she's THICC.

Bought the oversized version to compliment my Morgan 2x12 and I couldn't be happier with it. Sounds phenomenal: punchy, clear, and has a nice woody sound. Clean to extreme and everything in between, I couldn't imagine anybody regretting getting a bogner cab.

A great alternative to hauling around a 412 or just a good cab for more tonal options. Mine is loaded with Vintage 30's that have broken in nicely. Cab can handle lot's of styles of music and is built really well. Good low end and projection for a 2x12 cab, this is no small cab though - and weighs 80lbs. Amazing punch, clarity and definition - this cabinet immediately made a huge improvement in my overall tone/sound and truthfully I think it was already great to begin with. I had been using a Bogner regular sized open-back cab along with a Mesa 2x12 Recto (for some needed punch) and as much as I liked the open back regular cabinet alone, the OS Closed Back 2x12 just gives a punch… read more and bass response that does indeed rival or surpass 4x12's - it's not an exaggeration when they say that. I had tried various other cabinets over the years (Mesa, Marshall, Orange) but this cabinet is in a league of it's own! The cabinet has an excellent blend of low's and mids with enough top end clarity to be articulate but not harsh in any way - mids are smoother and warmer. I couldn't say enough about this cabinet. Particular side by side comparisons with my Mesa 2x12 (V30) and Marshall 4x12 1960 AV proved that the sound comparison wasn't even close for what I wanted ... Bogner OS 2x12 by a mile. Currently using the cabinet with either a Marshall JVM410h or Bogner Shiva EL34R head.
