Comfortable

The strap is comfortable for my Gretsch Hollowbody. I am 5'8" but very large around the middle and this fits well. There is a metal button with a logo on the wide part of the strap about 2 inches above the attachment hole. The metal button rest against the guitar when it is in the stand but doesn't hit the guitar when wearing, the Gretsch has the straplok above the neck. Terrific Strap Value, Watch the Decoration

Very well made suede strap that's soft and pliable to fit your shoulder comfortably. I've got it on an ES-335-style guitar that's pushing 8 pounds, and the strap balances the weight and is grippy enough to avoid neck dive while sitting or standing. The one thing to watch for is that the strap has a raised ornamental metal button on it, which isn't in the D'Addario product photos.… read more I was a little worried that the button would hit the guitar at the heel strap button, but it doesn't seem to be an issue between the height of the strap button and the placement of the logo button. This won't be a problem for guitars like Strats or Les Pauls with strap buttons on the side of the body, but it might be for guitars with heel-mounted strap buttons.

Very Nice Strap

This is a very nice strap, very soft and supple, nicely made too. As a previous reviewer noted it has cured the dreaded neck dive of my Epiphone SG. The soft suede has just enough friction to keep from sliding. I no longer need to remember to keep one hand on the guitar! My only criticism is that at its full extension the strap is just long enough to hold the guitar in playing position,… read more about an inch shorter than where the old strap was adjusted to. The nylon strap it replaced had maybe another foot to go to max out. If I were any taller (I'm just barely 6') I would have had to return it, so -1/2 Star. Otherwise perfect

Good, Basic Strap

Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. This strap is very basic but it does exactly what you want it to do. It is well made, very supple, adjustable, and has lots of grip, so it it perfect for any neck-diving guitars you may have. I've tried other much more expensive fancier padded straps, but I keep coming back to this one, especially if the guitar is a neck-diver,… read more because the suede provides exceptional grip. You don't need any fancy counterweights in the internal compartments of the guitar body or elsewhere - just this plain, suede strap. For example, this strap adequately counters the notorious neck-diving tendencies of my (Gibson) SG. It may get a bit uncomfortable (it has no padding) if you have a heavy guitar (e.g. Les Paul) and you play for two hours straight. But I have six or seven of these now on various makes and models of guitars, and, with and without strap locks, they just plain work - in my view you can't beat this strap for the money.

Planet Waves 2.5 in Suede Guitar Strap

Just picked-up 2 of these. Look nice and strong. Will do the job. I use them for my acoustic guitars. Feel and fits comfortably.
