I had a thin 2" strap that came with a previous bass. When I got this one, it made my bass (8.1 lbs) feel like a feather on my shoulder. I would recommend this strap to anyone looking for an inexpensive strap.

I just started learning to play on a P-Bass, and this strap is very comfortable and easily adjustable. Very useful for long practice sessions.

I have a few of these that I use these with standard electric guitars because I like the extra width and padding regardless of the instrument's weight. The padding could definitely be softer but these are still my first choice among all the "plain" straps I've owned.

This is my third Planet Waves padded 3" bass strap with padding. It is very adjustable and comfortable from the lightest to the heaviest bass guitars. I put away the other straps and plan a fourth on my next order from Sweetwater.
