My Favorite Fender Medium Picks

When I go Fender medium celluloid, it's one of these. I just ordered more. They look great, sound great and yes, I can use one of the 2 round shoulders or the (somewhat rounded) point just like I do with a beloved abalone Fender thin and I can use them very easily for hybrid style. The 351 shape facilitates all of this for me, not simply a "traditional shape," more like a pick shape… read more from a Platonic realm, and in this case, the white pearloid also suggests a Platonic realm. It also helps that I can find these white pearloids (motos) easier when I drop one or set one down compared to a flat white celluloid pick or other color options. In the file of "maybe it's my imagination but" they seem more consistent pick to pick, the way thins are in abalone, a better mix of durability, consistency (in flex/feel) and treble sheen and warmth in a medium. Like I said, "maybe it's my imagination but." Beautiful medium celluloid picks! Classics!
