Guitar speaker myths dispelled
If you're a tube guitar amp aficionado, you need this cabinet in your collection, trust me, you won't be disappointed
Why I Only Play Diezel Cabs
Let me preface this review by saying, this is the best cabinet I've ever owned. If you're looking for the most output, tone, and craftsmanship for your money; look no further than the Diezel 412 FK. If you want the true tone of your head to shine through, this is the amp for you. At 400 watts, it takes pedals incredibly well, with very minimal tone coloration. Though the mid range… read more is slightly darker than its V30 counterpart, the highs are crystal clear and aren't nearly as abrasive. Similarly, the front loaded design gives it a tight low end, while the high output of the Celestion G12K-100s gives it an incredible amount of headroom. The overall construction of the cabinet is remarkable, and to say it's built like a tank would be a gross over simplification. It's easily the heaviest cab I've ever owned, so the inclusion of the casters and wheels is a very nice touch. I'd highly recommend this cab to anyone with high wattage heads or profiling amps (i.e. Kemper or Axe FX) looking to accurately project your tone at any volume, without excessive compression, tone coloration, or natural overdrive from the speakers (as is often the case with V30s). I honestly love this cab so much, I'll probably grab another one Front Loaded w/ V30s to complete my full stack and get the best of both worlds.
