Dunlop Gator-Grip 1.5mm picks: The only pick I will useThere isn't much you can do to improve upon this design, other than improve the already outstanding durability that these already possess. One of these will last you almost forever. I am a very heavy-handed strummer, who also uses these with a bass. That is a lot of stress, yet I still am able to use some of these that I had read more when I first started. These will not break like some picks, but be warned: the tip can start to fray after a while. As for tone, these are as snappy as you can get. There's not much else to be said, because there is no real comparison to it. These are good picks for tone-geeks.These are also very thick in your fingers. Pick-slides can be a bit awkward, as these don't catch onto the strings as easily as thinner picks, but that thickness also means that these also don't flex, making these a lead-player's dream. It is usually much easier to hit individual strings with a rigid pick than a flexing pick.Pros: Durability is excellent, accuracy is improved, tone is snappierCons: Can start to fray, Pick-slides are awkward
