41P200 Delrin 500 Guitar Picks - 2.0mm Purple (12-pack) Review

Thumb tone

Love this pick for fat warm thumb like tone on my dobro and hollow body. Very articulate pick but super dark n fat as well. Though as Drew L stated, it would be amazing if Dunlop would make this purple 2mm pick in the Jazz III shape. Think it would be a great seller as this pick material has something very special about it. Plus they last forever!

Delrin 2mm

I like this pick, it produces a darker solid tone. For me I would like to see it in a Jazz III shape with more of a point. Delrin seems to be a durable plastic, compaired to acrylic it is softer and drags on the strings slightly but in a good way as this is what makes the "solid" tone.

Donlop 41p2.0 derlin purple pick

I just bought one of these today, just to check them out, I play a acoustic martin and they produce a nice mellow sound , plus i find that i can double pick with them easier than my other picks. plan on getting a few more.

Heirloom

I bought a dozen of these picks in Nov 1987 from another company. (I wrote the date on the bag). I use this pick for electric guitar. Picks definitely impart tonal properties, and this is the pick I've stuck with. They impart a thicker sound which I like. The highs are subdued a little. They can be a little hard to hold on to. If I drop it on a dark stage I look till I find it because it is now an heirloom! I like purple but wish they came in bright yellow also.
