Dunlop Ultex Sharp Picks are my favorite guitar plectrums! I only wish they made them in a 2.5mm and a 3.mm version!

I like a heavier pick with good tone both clean and with classic rock-like distortion. I had been using Dunlop PrimeTone 2mm's, but wanted something with a sharper point and a Jazz III-like taper in a standard size pick. After comparing ten or twelve different types, like Jazz III XLs, this one is it (for me, anyway). The Ultex sharp actually tapers in thickness toward the point,… read more as well, so it feels thinner than 2mm. It has good precision and speed for alternate picking and sweeps. (I wouldn't mind if they made one closer to 2.5mm, actually, or even a style a little wider with even shallower taper. But this is the best so far.)
