Awesome picks
Very good grip on these, I haven't dropped the pick a single time. Before I was trying different picks out because my playing got a little more demanding, so was looking at the big name signature picks and this one made the most sense. The tip is like between a Jazz II and III not too pointy or dull, just right.
Made for Riffing
These are some of my favorite picks. The hardened nylon really helps you dig in, and has a very focused attack. As a rhythmic player, I find these picks particularly useful for for riffing around chunky chords, and more thrashy speed riffing. The 33's all over the pick provide an incredible amount of grip (more than any other pick I've tried, in fact). Although, I will say these… read more are a bit stiffer than I'm used to, the amount of power and projection they provide make it worth it.
Absolute Shredder Pick!!
I am mostly using dunlop signature picks. When I play super fast thrash stuff, I wanted my picks faster yet not weak. This pick is absolutely great for shredding. Compared to my personal best shred pick - James Hetfield Black Fang -, this is lighter, thinner, faster but very sharper. Picking nuiances are vivid and very aggressive. It is like Hetfield's pick from hell. It also plays… read more well with 7 or 8 string. The only thing I dislike is that the grooves - logo and 333 are very cool looking but a little too scratchy in my hands. Though it provides enough friction and grip which are essential for shreddin.PS. Of course, it djents.
