Game Changer
This pick has changed how I've played guitar. I used to use the old purple Dunlop's, come on who hasn't, but they were just lacking. One day a friend referred me to these and I was just blown away. True they take some getting used to as they are a bit small but trust me if you play Rock you won't regret buying these.
Great Pick
I've tried all the Jazz III picks and I have things that I like and dislike about each one. I like the black stiffo's and eric johnson's for leads but the original blacks were too slippery for using live and didn't like them for certain fast rhythms for some reason. I like the carbon fiber as an overall pick too but these are slightly less grippy that the carbon fiber and glide… read more off the strings a little more. The red max grips have a slightly shorter tip. I tend to move my pick around as I play to tap, do pick slides or I occasionally point at people in the crowd and these give me the perfect grip without getting stuck to my fingers. The EJ picks feel slightly different on both sides and are a little brighter sounding where these feel the same no matter how you pick them up and are slightly warmer. I've just noticed that these picks allow me to forget about the pick itself and focus on performing. I'll probably bounce back and forth between these and the Eric Johnsons. They both have a great feel.
