Good value!
For my purposes the Gator 4G Gig Bag is a good value. I purchased it for a classical that won't see many gigs but does need protection for the occasional transport. The bag appears to be well made of decent materials. The fit is excellent which allows for the most protection with the least extra bulk or weight. The outer zippered pocket is roomy and will hold a full size notebook,… read more tablet and most other frequently used accessories. The carry handle is well positioned and the shoulder straps are handy and will lend themselves to attaching the bag to a motorcycle backrest. Only use over time can reveal the durability. The bag gets 4 stars for meeting all my requirements and the value to price ratio bumps it up to 5 stars. I would definitely recommend it to any friend who has naked guitars laying around.

Try One Before Buying
I was looking for an inexpensive gig bag for a Martin OO-size guitar when I came across this offering from Gator. It must have been a new model as none were in stock and delivery took close to a month. Upon arrival, I noticed that my Martin OO was a tight fit, which is odd since the OO-series guitars are smaller than Classical/OOO/Folk-sized guitars. Being curious, I got out all… read more my small-bodied guitars and tried them in the case. Some would fit, some were WAY too tight. Uncomfortably tight. Two of my Classical guitars were in the tight category while one Martin OOO was too tight, (remember that that OOO and Classical are practically identical). Others went in with no difficulty. With that said, quality of construction is on par with what you would expect from GATOR. Well stitched with good materials. The accessory pocket is rather large but is not that segmented. It is one large pocket with a mesh Velcro-ed pocket on the inside flap. Outside, there are two small mesh pockets that will not hold water bottles or anything large. Padding is not that thick for daily travel especially if the fit is tight. But, this gig bag is only $55.00. Anything fancier would drive up the cost. The old adage, "You get what you pay for" holds in this case. But for the occasional trip to a friends house, (which is the reason behind getting this bag), it's suitable. It is also useful for home storage rather than propping a guitar against a wall or similar not-so-good alternative. And, it keeps the dust from accumulating on your guitar. Would I buy this bag again? Yes. It performs the job as well as can be expected for the cost. But as mentioned earlier, try one first if you can to make sure it will fit the guitar you have.
