Works Great!!
I know some folks had some issues with this pick holder, but they must have read your reviews and made modifications. It works great on my mic stands boom arm. Out of the package, onto the stand. I tried it on my 25 year old mic stand and on my 2 month old mic stand and it works great on both. Maybe it was 8" before and slid around on a boom arm? I will never buy any other type… read more of pick holder again.
Excellent.
the mic stand section i have this on is one inch diameter tubing, and it's almost like it was special made for that...works great, holds about 7 picks..
A handy little thing, but...
For a few dollars, I don't expect a lot. This works okay with a little modification. I have a K&M telescoping microphone boom which is the same diameter as any other telescoping boom and this thing wouldn't stay on. My remedy was to cut a few notches in it and use zip ties to hold it on. It will fit snugly on the vertical part of the stand, but I wanted it where I can reach… read more it, not almost three feet away! But... it's not a huge issue. I'm just surprised that it is made this way. But, it's on and it does what it is designed to do.
Works Well
I used to apply black electrical tape to my microphone stand to attach spare picks. With the Dunlop 5010 7" Mic Stand Pick Holder I no lodger have to deal with tape or sticky picks or mic stand. 7" gives you plenty of room for spare picks and if you need more than 7inches you might want to make an appointment with your Primary Care Provider to find out why you are dropping so… read more many picks. The only issue I had wad that I couldn't fit the pick holder and the mic cable clip on my K & M mic stand so I had to do a little surgery and remove 1/8 of and inch of length from the pick holder. Can't beat it for the price!
Brilliant - should have bought it years ago
