Good Picks

I switched to these from Jazz III Ultex. Just wanted to slow myself down and change my playing a bit. Also wanted to switch back to bigger style picks for acoustic guitar and general versatility. These are good sounding picks. Just be warned that the Standard and Grip versions are two different picks. I have not decided which one I prefer yet. The only thing that bothers me about read more the pick is that the edges are sculpted or sanded once per side. As opposed to the Jazz III Ultex, which is totally rounded off on the edges. So if you play Benson style with pick inverted and thumb pointing up, this is definitely not your pick. The Standard and Grip also sound totally different. These are brighter while the grip ones are dark. I subtracted half a star because they are expensive and because they won't accommodate all playing styles. But I am personally very satisfied. They play great for acoustic and electric and I feel comfortable playing both rhythm and lead parts on em. Cheers!

These picks are great. They glide easily across the strings, and provide better tone than just about anything out there. They also stay in your hand without dropping them when playing. I haven't had any wear down on me, but to be fair I have several I use for different applications, so I don't put a lot of playing time on any one pick. I've been using them for over a year and read more never had one to crack or break. I have some of every gauge from .73 mm to the 1.5 including some of the larger triangle and grip style picks. I enjoy them all. These are the closest thing I have found to my favorite Blue Chip picks. Even though the price is higher on these than many others, they are well worth it and still much less than some of the boutique picks out there.
