Excellent Speaker Cabinet
I paired this baby with my EVH 5150lll Amplifier. You can feel how it moves the air at high volume, projecting the sound with huge clarity. Got it in White and it just looks and sounds amazing. Thanks again to my Engineer Zach Richards for helping me during and after the purchase process, he is always there for me making sure everything goes smoothly.
EVH 5150 4x12 cabinet
The tone is perfect matching my 100w EVH Stealth head and assured me that I have the correct speakers for the Stealth! This cabinet sounds completely awesome and gives me the tone I need from the amp!!
EVH 5150 4X12 Cab
Very happy with this purchase. This thing rocks and sounds better everyday!!
10 + TONE CANDY
I have played hundreds of different amp, cab and guitar combinations - all makes and models. This cabinet and speaker combination has it totally nailed - highs mids, lows, grunge, dropped tunings, deep strong projection, searing highs, "rings like a bell" - whatever you need. Coupled to an EVH 5150 III 100 watt RMS head - you have a monster !!! I can feel my hair move, my feet vibrate,… read more and my eyeballs rattle within 20 feet of this thing. You will love this cab once you hear it although your neighbors might not. You DO NOT need to max out your amp head controls to ten to get what you need or want from this cab, provided that you are using a 100 watt RMS amp head; plus it really is not too good to do that for either your speakers or your hearing health. You CAN hurt yourself if you are too crazy with the volume. Remember that speakers DO HAVE a break-in period so increase your amp outputs gradually over time.
Mystical Blackbacks
Superior Cab. Understand that this isn't Peavey EVH sig speakers. It's Celestion MIGB Greenbacks. Except they are Blackbacks, which was a temporary Greenback mid to late 70's. The Blackback is the MOST desirable tone in the history of Rock music. EVH simply took same speaker and tweaked it for his flavor. In other words, these speakers have captured the hardest to find tone… read more in music history. I fail to understand why these speakers aren't highly sought after in today's market. The originals probably have blown cones and have aged and played HARD. Think AC/DC Back In Black. Or Thin Lizzy Boys Are Back in Town. They are GREAT GREAT speakers in a very sturdy deeeep Cab. Very FULL and WIDE sounding. My only issue with this Cab is that it doesn't provide 4 Ohm option.
