As good as Mesa !!
These V30 loaded cabs are phenomenal. In my opinion, its just as good as my Mesa cab. Myself and all my friends were blown away how great it sounds. Buy one and you'll see for yourself.
Vintage 30's
The celestian vintage 30's are basically the standard for metal genre's of music. These cab's are built to last and sound great, especially paired with a 6505+. However I do know that the description list black stone cherry as using these cab's....And I own one of there old cabinet's and they used to use Budda cab's...so idk about that. Any way this cab is freaking Rad.
Under rated cab.
I upgraded from a triple x cab to this beast... Major difference. I instantly noticed how much better the sound quality was and had a really hard time stopping playing when it came to dinner time. The celestion speakers are just awesome for metal and cleans. Signal chain= washburn parralax solar 7 (the better ola model). Maxon od808. Isp decimator(cheaper one), peavey 6505 mini… read more head, 6505 angled cab. Also ran that same chain with my damien platinum 8 string and also had amazing sound. Not a big fan of the active emg 808s though sadly. Switched to the passive duncan solars in the ola guitar and BAM! Instantly the sound I've been dreaming of the 16 years I've played. Lord help the neighbors, they think Satan is living next door!. I know it's a little off track from the cab review but I'm trying to help the fellow musicians with reviews that would have helped me in my tone search. Why else would you be spending around a grand on a speaker box? You're looking for that tone bro...
Nice cab for stage use
Bought mine about 5 years ago had a chance to crank a 20 watt Laney head full blast volume on 10 through the cab and it sounded clear crisp and tight. I think the speakers are good. They are 80 watt speakers so this cab can handle a 120 watt head no problem. Good cab mine came with the casters installed on the bottom the cab weighs almost 100 pounds. If it had neo speakers… read more it would weigh at least 25 pounds less but would cost an extra $500. It looks good too. A friend of mine who is a fine guitarist also thought the speakers were ok.
