Clayton Pick finish comes off!

I've been using flat picks since 1967. I have used these Clayton picks for longer than I can remember. I got a package a few weeks ago and after playing guitar only an hour the finish came off and they now look black and clear and white. Never had this happen before. Just strange. They still play the same and my old ones I go back to just because I think the finish is entering… read more my skin! I'm guessing the company has tried to save some money? Why else would you change a great pick?!
