My go-to pick
I play guitars and bass. I've been using Claytons for about 20 years. I can't stand slippery celluloid picks and I sweat like a pro wrestler even in mild temperatures. The matte finish is great, feels secure in the fingers. They don't slip even when sweat is rolling down onto my hands. The 1mm picks are my ideal thickness for both guitar and bass, (despite elitist snobbery, it's… read more perfectly ok to play bass with a pick!), so I can go back and forth with the same pick. They have become a part of my sound. Picks are a very personal thing. I realize that no pick is going to be perfect for every player, but Clayton acetal picks tend to last longer for me, maybe because of my chosen thickness. I tend to play aggressive music and use thick strings and I feel I always get my money's worth with a pack of these. They almost sound better to my ears after I've played for a few hours with one. If you play metal/hardcore type stuff w/ heavy chunky rhythm or sweat buckets, these picks (in this guage) may be for you and Clayton has plenty of shapes & thicknesses, something for everybody.
Another of My Favorites!
Clayton Acetal are excellent picks! I keep switching between these and the Clayton Ultem. Perfect thickness for me. Like 'em both!
