Vox mini amp
This little thing is killer i use it to record stuff on GarageBand. Its sounds like a marshal stack. Crisp sound you can run effects through it too. No one will know the difference lol
I loove this
I've had my amplug blues for a few years and love it but really get tired of hearing headphone guitar, I just need it out in the room… Narrowly chose to get this over the much "bigger" micro cube and I am addicted! For whatever reason, an op amp big muff running into this with the excellent built in reverbs and coming out of the meanest of 3" speakers just knocks me out! I do… read more recommend using a power supply for best performance but a high quality 9v works great too. This is my kitchen rig and it gets turned up daily right now, big amps fully neglected ;D
Better than expected
I got one of these recently to go with my amPlug 2 Classic Rock. So glad I did. I just use it for messing around in my bedroom and for that it's plenty loud enough. If that's all you're going to do with it, then it's a perfect companion to the amPlug 2 products.
Perfect for Home Practice
So this is actually my first amp. I had a headphone amp previously and I've finally gotten to a point that I want to share my music with people. This is loud enough and sounds pretty good for right now. And it's super portable. Honestly I think this little guy is way under rated.
Awesome Little Bedroom/Apartment Amp SOUNDS GREAT!!!
I have lived in an apartment for the last few years making it impossible to play my AWESOME tube amps etc. When I first moved in I was using a Vox Ac4 to help on volume levels but even it was to loud for here. I purchased the Vox amPlug AC 30 years ago and have used it non stop here in my apartment. I wanted some cleane tone so I got the Vox AmPlug 2 Clean (which actually has the… read more ac30 dirty channel selection as well so you get this nice fat clean tone and a sweet AC 30 style crunch as well as 3 reverbs, 3 chrous and 3 delay. It sounds top notch with the little cabinet. The perfect combination. This little guy exceeded my expectations and actually sounds great and I have all the effects going through it as well. Just remember this is for a bedroom or maybe having friends over for an acoustic jam and playing an electric through it. Its at acoustic guitar volume level. You can only get good cleans out of this cabinet by getting the "clean" amplug 2. It's the most versatile so you can practice clean and crunchy songs. I would recommend this if you need a true good sounding bedroom level amp for cheap.
