I got this strap for my Gretsch Streamliner and it is a perfect match for the 7 pound 5 ounce guitar. It's thick, yet comfortable and has the very slightest amount of slip only when asked for it. This is the most I've ever paid for a guitar strap that I can remember but it's worth the cost as it just raised the value of the guitar by that much anyway.

Been using this a couple years and it's very comfortable. It's thick but not too thick, as well as wide while not being too wide. Really a nice sensible strap. I use it on both acoustic and electric guitars.

Unless you're the frontperson for a Country band this strap is all you need. It's not flashy or gaudy but it is sooo comfortable. Very soft leather that caresses your contours & it folds up nicely to go in your guitar case. Very durable & handsome contrasting stitching that adds a nice touch. Well that is a plus when attaching your new Martin Ball Glove Leather & Suede Strap - Black, to the unforgiving strap buttons on your guitar Specs are 2.5 inches wide & 54 inches at full length. I'm 6 foot & play a Fender Pbass that weighs a bit over 8 lbs. This strap is the perfect length for playing finger style & wide enough & SOFT enough to support the weight comfortably. For comparison I have a 10.4 lb Jazz bass that takes a 3 inch wide strap to achieve the same effect. I tried the 3 inch strap on my 8 lb Pbass & it felt like overkill. Enough is enough.

Incredible value for $50!!! Very nice build double stitching & high quality Leather. Just like a broken in ball glove. Suede Underside keeps guitar where you want it! Wide to spread the weight of a heavy Les Paul!
