This little guy can keep up
I play guitar in church, and I have several amps and have struggled being too loud several times. So, I bought this thinking if I needed more volume, I would add a speaker to it and get the full effect of the 50 watts. so out of the box I took it for the first service and with the older gospel songs it was perfect at 25 watts with volume left over. So, I asked one of the singers… read more for the second service how loud they were, and he said I should be able to keep up with it. the second service is a contemporary service, and he was wrong they were loud. I used a tube screamer for this type of music, and they almost drowned my little amp out and I kicked the Pic up booster and tube screamer that has a volume nob on them, and it gave me enough volume. I watched the meter to make sure I didn't overload this little guy and it hung in there and with a sweet sound. actually, got lots of complements on the sound. this thing is remarkable.
Incredible cabs
I bought a pair of these to go with an MV50 Clean almost as a fun experiment. I was blown away by both the amp and the speakers. They have more low range than you'd ever expect, but more importantly they're just perfect for guitar. In fact, they've sold me on the idea that 2x8 is better than 1x12 and possibly even 2x12. I attached the MV50 to top of one cab (with pedalboard velcro)… read more and mounted the power supply inside. This gives me a super light 25w 1x8 "combo" to grab and go with. However, it really shines when I hook up the second speaker have the full 50w. I place them side by side on a tilt-back stand and it's absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. This is my main rig now.
Sweet bedroom cab
This little Vox sounds great. Kinda crazy for the size. I have a orange micro terror paired with it yeah great tones. And Dontae Harris and sweetwater are outstanding at taking care of you. Best customer service hands down. That's what keeps me coming back to sweetwater!
Vox B10
Pretty impressed with the sound of this cab for its size. Just what I needed for my small music room.
My first cab smaller than a 212 ...
I've been throwing my fingers at guitars for 30 years. I'm no expert and I'm no fool. I bought the MV-AC In a package deal with this cab. I'd dismissed any speaker smaller than a 12" just based on my limited experience and conventional wisdom(other people opinions). I don't play outside my living room but have a 412 as my go to. My 412 stopped working the day after I ordered this.… read more I've put it through its paces as my sole guitar amp for a couple months now and both the amp and cab just blew me away! I run 8-14 pedals in front because it's fun and I haven't had any problems. I'm questioning my penchant for 12" speakers now. It's not a 412, but then again ...it's not a 412. Pros far and away the little lack of low end. It's actually a really good amp and cab. The build quality on the cab is top notch and the head is bulletproof. Grab one! I'm getting another to run stereoeoeo!!!!
