Worth the wait a piece of musical art

I've waited a lifetime for a guitar like this. The Jeff Bridges model provides flawless construction with stunning beauty and effortless playability. It's hand voiced parts give you an even tone top to bottom with the playability for finger styling but the low end growl of a dreadnaught. I've owned a Breedlove Concert for years and my only want was a deeper low end and the Concerto read more delivers. While I could've saved a few hundred by going basic Concerto Myrtlewood I could not pass up the stage statement of this beauty. The only change I've made is to replace the factory strings with D'Addario XT lights which suits my style of playing better. Thanks to Andrew at Sweetwater for letting me know when one was in. As always his recommendations are right on.

This guitar was a gift to myself after playing guitar for 50 years. They are hard to get anywhere, and I really owe my sales rep (Mark T.) for giving me a call the instant one became available. This guitar is everything I could possibly want in an acoustic, and trust me, I have more than a few. The fingerboard is cool, and the Myrtlewood body is beautiful. It plays like butter and read more sounds great. It's loud acoustically, and it comes with my favorite acoustic pickup system! Even the case candy is the best I've ever seen. I recently played at a get together with a friend who is maybe the loudest acoustic rhythm player in the world. With medium strings and playing acoustically, you could still hear my guitar when I took a solo. It's an inspiring guitar and a real joy to play. I can't rate it highly enough. Mark T., you've done a lot of great things for me over the years, but this was the best! Thank you Sweetwater. Thank you Mark! I strongly suggest that you get on the waiting list right now If you're reading this review! You will be disappointed if you don't.

Fantastic

My Martin D-35 sounds muddy and muffled in comparison to this guitar. My Guild D-55 sounds a bit brighter, but also a little muddy (not as much as the Martin, though) in comparison. It is also noticeably louder than the Breedlove. But the Breedlove is more focused than these two spruce/rosewood guitars, it has excellent tone and, like the Martin and Guild, is a real pleasure to read more play. It is currently my favorite, but that might be due to the newness factor. But it is a great guitar, fun to play, pleasing tone, with a great woodgrain, stain and overall finish. I am very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful Guitar

Once I get the right strings (for me) on this I will be spending a lot of time enjoying it. The Bourbon Myrtlewood comes from my home State and I couldn't me more pround. Josh, at Sweetwater, was huge in this decision, again, and I look forward to sharing many more of life's musical path expriences with him and Sweetwater! Shout out Josh!! Thank you, Rick
