My New Goto Guitar

After a lot of research, watching videos on Breedlove's manufacturing process and Sound Optimization process, I was sold on buying one. Decided with the great assistance from my Sales Engineer, Eric, on the Oregon Concert Sika Spruce Myrtlewood model. Couldn't be more pleased with my choice. Right out of the box it played great! Highly recommend Breedlove and buying through read more Sweetwater!

Dream Guitar

Beautiful guitar, absolutely love it! So playable with such ringing tonality. After an adjustment to lower the action and changing out the strings to 11's (due to some wrist and thumb issues), the playability was even enhanced and the tone is unbelievable. This guitar is my new #1 taking over from my Gibson J-15 (use this when I need a little bit more base in the music). Also own read more a Martin OM-15E with great sound and playability but this Breedlove really surpasses it. Really pretty middles and highs with nice bass when I hit it a little harder. A big highly recommend!

I was looking for it; found it.

I have a 50 year old Tama dreadnaught (a Martin clone) and a Godin Metropolis Limited Mahogany/Cedar dreadnaught. I set out looking for two things -- a "folk" size guitar (slightly smaller than dreadnaught), and one that would combine the best tonal qualities of the Tama and Godin Metropolis. I knew that the second feature would be a little difficult to find. But, Breedlove's read more description of Myrtlewood as a tone wood is right on the mark (in my opinion) and gave my exactly what I wanted. I have had the guitar for a couple of months now; bought the all Myrtlewood natural model. It gives me everything I want, whether finger picking, finger style or strumming; whether folk, blues, or upbeat; slight adjustments in approach make it cry or sing. I can sense a nice, slight "aging" in the wood already, which will only improve even more over time. Added bonus is the beauty of Myrtlewood; plus, the Myrtlewood used for each guitar is totally distinct, making for a very unique guitar. Yes, I am thoroughly pleased.

Will grow into.

After years dabbling with a guitar too big.... I decided to sell the old and commit to a new. Being a novice to guitars/music industry in an older age, Thomas Bradley really stepped in and helped me find options in a set price range and matched personal values in a company (US made, quality, sustainable). He made shopping online personal and fun. He kindly dealt with naive questions read more while generously sharing knowledge delivered at my level. The guitar exceeded my expectations. It's beautiful, smooth to the touch and ears. The best part is no more additional strain in hands or a tight shoulder from a guitar too big.

I have 11 guitars including Taylor (400 & 600 series). This in my new favorite. Great to hold, plays very smoothly, and a big, rich sound.

This guitar is one of the most stunning handmade things I've ever owned, handled or played, and it sounds absolutely incredible; in spite of all descriptions & testimonials I'd read or videos I'd seen, it still surpassed my expectations. Once I start playing it, it's hard to put it down; the vibration from its incredible sustain gets into your soul ! It's also great to have such read more an exotic-looking & well-crafted guitar made from sustainably-sourced wood from the west coast of North America. For the time being it is now my dedicated DADGAD guitar, and I can't wait to show it off to friends & colleagues.

This guitar punches above it's weight class

It's definitely not a dreadnought, but this concert body has a big sound! Length, width and depth measurements are almost identical to my Martin OM28 but, I think it is louder and tonally fuller sounding. This thing has some guts! If you have never played a guitar with myrtlewood before, you should give it a try. Mine has myrtlewood on top, back and sides and I love it. A few read more years ago I owned a Breedlove concert body with myrtlewood on the back and sides only - spruce top. It was a nice guitar but, not as full sounding to me. Breedlove isn't as well known as the big manufacturers but, it is a US company (Bend, Oregon) and their higher end guitars are built right there. Quality is great!

Outstanding
