If you do enough research around the internet, you'll see in multiple places this guitar is listed as the best in its price class - and for good reason. I bought this guitar, sight unseen, unplayed based on online reviews alone and it's just beautiful to play. The top hole doesn't affect the acoustics of the guitar at all - but gives you the added bonus of being able to hear a tone… read more that is more akin to that being projected out the front of the guitar - so you can really catch the nuances instead of just hearing the muffled representation of the hole sound. Can't recommend enough.
