A breeze to install
Simple and in tune
What an amazingly simple design, and it works! A simple shim that allows you to drop to D and back up to E. A little fine tuning with the hole for a small allen wrench is required, but once dialed in works like a charm. My tremolo is blocked but I'll keep my nut locked, this makes dropping and returning insanely fast. Worth it!
Works Like it Should
I bought this to replace the D Tuna on my 2014 EVH 5150 guitar. The original fine tune screw was not working right. Could not get it to tune up to E. The new one works perfect.
About as simple as it gets!
Can you use a screwdriver? No? Good...you don't need one. The installation will take about 5 minutes if your trem is blocked (only lowers string pitch). It's literally remove the old allen screw that actuates the block against the string in the saddle, assemble the d-Tuna parts (replacement allen screw, spring, and "d-Tuna knob"), and reassemble. The only real time that might… read more be expended is making sure that "E" and "D" are in tune when you use the unit, which is accomplished through a pretty simple allen screw adjustment. It's cheap. I works every time. It's simple to install. Ladies and gentlemen, I think we've hit the trifecta!
Great fro a locking tremelo system.
I absolutely love this thing. It took five minutes to install and works great. You can switch from E to D during a song and no one would be able to tell you did it. I highly recommend it.
