Great Value, Nice Guitar!

I've had good luck with D'Angelico purchases in the past and the specs on these XT variants seem to have all the right pieces assembled. I have one of their Premier level dreadnaughts that completely surprised me in a positive way and gave me the confidence to order this XT. It's cosmetically flawless, the nut is perfect and the fret work is as good as it gets. My only negative read more comment is on the set up height. It was whacky high and didn't agree at all with the factory (Cort) QC card included. I'd be tuning that in anyway but it surprised me that it made it past the 55 point system being so far off. I don't expect a full setup but this was off the charts high. It has a nice, balanced sound and is surprisingly open sounding for being brand new. The electronics get along well with all 3 of my amp rigs and I easily tuned the Fishman to my gear. The case is also appreciated as it is high grade and compliments this nice guitar. Premium tuners that feel like top shelf units cap it off. I did a little hand wringing, buying a Chinese acoustic guitar in this price range but it's worked out well and I'm very pleased with the guitar. Thanks to Nick Haskins for assisting me on this!
