Don't let my chosen title fool you... I love this guitar! The sound is beautiful, and obviously the stylized head and body are appealing to the eye. If you are more of an elitist when it comes to the guitar of choice, then this guitar probably doesn't match par with other "top" brands. Looking for a guitar that isn't cheaper than dirt, but still on a budget? This guitar is a great… read more choice for the aspiring guitarist on a budget.

I purchased this guitar from a different website when it was on sale. I was concerned about buying a guitar online without playing it, as most players are. I had never heard of D'Angelico guitars before it was on sale at another website at a great price. I got my guitar a few days later, and seriously this guitar sounds better than a Martin. I just played a Martin (albeit, probably… read more would sound better once the strings are changed) This guitar has a bright, booming big sound. I play guitar every day, and it really sounds phenomenal. It sounds amazing if you are recording and the built in electronics, it sounds amazing. If you buy this guitar, you will not be disappointed. I used to think "you get what you pay for" in guitars, and I am thrilled that is not the case with D'Angelico, you can see it is an excellent made guitar, and I have had absolutely NO problems with it. It is 100% quality. The neck has the mother of pearl inlays as fret markers and this guitar stays in tune most of the time. I liked this guitar so much, I just bought its sister today, a sunburst 12 string. They're like a best kept secret. I will sing the praises of them all day long. I have been playing for 17 years. If you are questioning about buying this, do it. You will not be disappointed. I hope my review helps someone.

Originally ordered with Guitar Center, they kept delaying the delivery for 2 months. I cancelled and reordered with Sweetwater and received the Guitar in 3 days. Plays great, beautiful guitar very happy with it. Great job Sweetwater with your customer service, I received a phone call from my rep to make sure everything was in order, could not ask for more.
