Very comfortable
I've been using this Gruv Gear Recoil guitar strap for about a year and a half now. I put in at least two 3-hour rehearsals with my band every week and I always practice standing up so I'm ready for the stage. I've never felt am ounce of discomfort with this strap. Even after 2 to 3 hours of standing playing my Thunderbird bass or my 5-string ESP or my heavy Les Paul.. my Feet… read more and legs get a little tired but my shoulder feels great and the guitar itself is very comfortable with this strap. Customer service from Gruv Gear is very good and anytime I've had a little problem they immediately 2-Day express me whatever I need. I do feel that there's one design issue that they need to address. The adjustable straps are the same length on both ends. This means that if you're a tall guy like me and you need to extend this strap out to its full length, the shoulder pad actually ends up in the middle of my back. The portion of the strap that goes to the horn of the guitar needs to be shorter. Or far more importantly, the portion of the strap that goes to the tail of the guitar needs to be longer. Nobody wears the shoulder pad in the middle of their back so I don't understand the point of making both ends of the strap the same length. Even if they offered a longer trail strap for tall people, that would help a lot but as it is I had to buy an extender for the tail end of the strap because it's not long enough. I'm 6'3 and I've lifted weights my whole life so I realize that I'm bigger and broader than most people. The design still makes no sense on why they made the leather strap equally long on the front and the back when nobody's ever going to use it this way. Generally the portion of the strap that goes to the horn of your guitar is very short and the portion of the strap that goes to the tail of the guitars very long, in order for the shoulder pad to actually sit on your shoulder.
Great strap
I had heard a lot of good things about Gruv Gear straps; tough reputation to live up to but honestly I'm not disappointed. The strap is wide, and well padded. The adjustment is a little unusual, but not difficult to work with. It holds the bass well, especially heavy basses, which I can play without tiring with this strap. The width also helps with basses that like to neck dive.… read more Well worth the money.
Love it!
Probably the most comfortable strap I have ever used. By the end of the evening playing a heavy bass, I used to get pains in my shoulder, but not with this strap.
Bass strap.
Good quality strap. I like that you can adjust the length at both ends.
Best Bass Strap Ever!!
This is the best bass strap I've ever used!!! Its very comfortable after hours of playing and the adjustability is second to none. You have the ability to set the neck to whatever angle you want as well as the height of the bass to your body. Looks great as well. Hoping this strap lasts for many years but if it doesn't I'll buy another one because I like it that much.
