Foolproof
I have had this strap on my guitar for probably about 8 years give or take and it has not given me any issues of any kind once. Not much else to say other than that, my one complaint is that I like to have my guitar strapped up pretty high and the highest setting on this strap is still too low for me. I've figured out a way around this by folding the strap over itself and threading… read more it through the adjustor. It's not a perfect solution though so I plan on buying the extra short version.
Excellent
I gave this strap the highest rating because it deserves it. When I unpackaged the strat, I found the material to be sturdy, flexible and soft. I installed it with no problem. The necessary hardware and plastics were available and plentiful. After playing my guitar for a few moments, I noticed how comfortable it rested on my shoulder. It is thin in width but don't let that fool… read more you. Thin, comfortable and doesn't get in the way of those higher frets. Great, great strap. As always, Jared made sure I received my package along with including those candies i love so much. Sweetwater is the only place I have found whatever has crossed my mind to help me play better and sound better.
If it doesn't work it must be Operator error.
Been playing guitar since 1984. Have used the Cliplock strap on and off since 1987. I have never and I repeat "NEVER!!" had a malfunction of any kind. To the review about the screws... you either didn't have them in all the way or the wood was already "screwed up". LOL. You need to be smarter than the screw, ie. get a longer one from the local hardware store. If this is too much… read more trouble then use some epoxy in the hole and make the screw permanent. Just saying. This product is one of the most outstanding items on the market since the 80's. Like the review referencing Yngwie. everyone was throwing the guitars around their shoulders and bodies, no problems if the cliplock was being used. brings back memories.....
DeMarzio ClipLock
They are the only straps I use...on all four electrics, my bass and my Breedlove Acoustic. I have one more Breedlove I still need to purchase one for but it is alread on the list. Look at the folks who use these and then you'll understand.
Everything you want in Straplocks
I bought these in person at my local music store so of course I didn't get sweetwater's price, but I can say I fully trust this strap with my Bass. Playing metal, I headbang, jump around, and over all just move a lot and this strap holds onto it all without adjusting or coming undone. It also allows for you to quickly take of your instrument or put it back on. I would recommend… read more these to anybody who needs a good set of straplocks.
