Large board with lots of space and a good power supply
Fair warning, take a look at the power draw of your pedals before relying on just this PSU. Most folks will be fine but if you end up trying to plug in 4 Strymon/Strymon like pedals, a drop, a wireless and whatever else, you may find that you're under powered. Other than that, the board is solid. The power supply is excellent. More than enough velcro to do what you need. The… read more bag is nice for keeping everything together and solid. I like this a lot. Thanks!
Worth it
Probably the best investment I've made in the name of noise. No more worrying about external power supplies and for such a large board and case, it's surprisingly lightweight.
Dingbat medium pedalboard
Great product. Easy to set up, heavy duty construction, pedal power 2 is great! Really like the slanted board. Very satisfied!
Great pedalboard and power
This is a great set up for my effects pedals, easily handling my eight powered pedals and an unpowered mini volume pedal. It is so convenient to have the Pedal Power 2 plus factory installed, so it only took about 30 minutes to attach and connect the pedals. I had initially ordered the medium board with Pedal Power 3 plus, but that has been back-ordered for 7 months. I really did… read more not need twelve 500 m amp options, since my pedals all have pretty low amp requirements, so I went with this older option. It is working just fine. This is my second Voodoo Labs board and power brick, and they are both sturdy, quiet, and well designed. I may never need the higher output and numbers for my basic pedals and styles. Greg Baum kept me apprised of the back-order situation, and got this one delivered pronto once I made up my mind. Another good job by Greg and Sweetwater.
Made in the USA - NO NOISE - SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
First off, this product is made in the USA, big selling point for me. I already had my pedal layout drafted on paper and had the proper cables to make it work. I HIGHLY suggest the Ernie Ball ribbon patch cords if you want to maximize your pedalboard real estate. I fit thirteen (YES, 13) on this medium board. I used the receptacle on the Pedal Power 2 supply to power a 1 Spot 9V… read more adaptor and daisy chained five other pedals. NO NOISE AT ALL! Looking at the photo I attached, my pedalboard order goes from right to left in front of the amp: tuner, compressor, Plumes, Pathos Distortion, EQD Fuzz, OD Glove, TS9. The effects loop: EQ, chorus, phaser, delay, reverb, looper. I haven't worked on making the board totally free of cords and cables yet, I wanted to get it set up and play on it to check for noise before making the pedals semi-permanent. There is PLENTY of room to get all the cables tucked away neatly. I think they could have provided more zip ties and adhesive anchor points, but then, I do have 13 pedals operating FLAWLESSLY and looking pretty darn good. For the record, effects loop cables are 6 footers and my guitar to tuner cable is a 10 footer. Patch cables are Ernie Ball Ribbon Cables, except for one. I highly recommend this board! I also have left over Hook & Loop tape after mounting 13 pedals. I highly recommend you lay out four rows from LEFT to RIGHT, as suggested by Voodoo Labs. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to get my board up and running, but your mileage will vary.
