Well made but thin and cheap feeling

I ordered this strap because I was looking for a leather guitar strap with an unfinished natural backing to help prevent "neck dive" on my guitar. I'm returning it because while the backing is not finished, it's pretty smooth, not the kind of rough unfinished leather or suede I was looking for. Also, the leather is rather thin and feels cheap. If you're looking for a leather strap… read more on a budget and don't mind if it's a little thin, then maybe this strap is for you, but if you're looking for something thicker with a rougher backing, avoid this one.

Great strap, made in USA. It's not their top of the line, but at this price, that wasn't what I was buying or expecting.

I really like this strap. It took me a bit to break it in to where it was really comfortable, but once I did it has been fantastic. I play this on one of the heavier instruments you'll use (a Les Paul) and it holds up just fine. It would have been a 5 star if it didn't require a bit of break in.

It's a Levy's strap. These straps are some of the best leather straps made. I have several different sizes and colors for all my guitars. I tried some of the cheaper made straps and, they do not compare with Levy's. I've just ordered an M26 suede rust colored strap for my new 12 string and, I am sure it will be everything that I am expecting.
