Great pots
As a luthier by trade I find these pots very high quality. Some have mentioned having problems with the resistor being uneven in the taper. Be sure to check the resistance before installation. One of the most common problems I correct in my shop is people who do their own installation and damage the thin ribbon resistor in the pot by overheating it during soldering. This is not… read more the fault of the potentiometer. They are very delicate and require delicate soldering to prevent internal damage. These pots are smooth tapered and quality parts. Ill continue to use them in my shop.
DiMarzio 500k pots
The pots are well made. The cases are steel.. not alloy. The sweeper might crackle a bit coming off of 0..but it can be remedied. The overall feel is smooth and confide nt! Fix the sweeper and rock on !!
DimarZio pots
I"ve used these for years. First thing I do on any new guitar is replace the pots with Dimarzio custom taper pots. They are quiet and roll very gradual and evenly. Especially useful when you rely on your volume a lot playing with some gain. They roll down to clean very nicely. Dimarzio Volume Pot
Great feeling pot, it's not loose. I had these on my guitars for many years and never had an issue with them.
