Incredible!
This guitar is fantastic! I cannot put it down. I have a piano/keyboard, 4 bass guitars and this! I cannot seem to keep my hands off this Casino! It's unlike any guitar I have ever played! Having been a musician over the past 40 years, I've played a lot of instruments... this Epiphone Casino is the only one that's left me breathless!
First Epiphone/Casino
This is my first Epiphone guitar. I was not expecting a whole lot for the price point, but it does feel and look nice. I can say it came well adjusted and Sweetwater staff obviously took care of it. Very happy with this purchase and again Sweetwater is the best!
Great guitar
I wanted a casino for a while now. I am happy that I have one now. It sounds and plays well. Very pleased with this one.
Absolutely stunning!
I started off by ordering the Epi ES 339. It arrived very quickly, but it just wasn't delivering the sound I was looking for. Mike at Sweetwater let me take my time with it. I had it a little longer than they normally allow, but he said he wanted to make sure I got the axe I wanted. Can't say enough about the service at Sweetwater. Everyone I dealt with was super nice, friendly… read more and helpful! I used to own an Epiphone ET 250 full hollow body and I thought I would trade the ES up for a Casino (full hollow) in natural finish. Wow! Am I glad I did! It is a beautiful looking guitar! I've been waiting for it to arrive (back ordered) for over a month and have been salivating over photos of it on Sweetwater's website! When I received the email that it had arrived, I was so excited I drove from North Central Ohio to pick it up. Our band held its first practice since COVID on that very day, and I wanted to have it for practice. Needless to say, my bandmates were jealous. I have a Fender American Tele and I have to say, I didn't pick it up one time at practice. The P-90s are bright and quite hot. You CAN actually get Beatle tones out of her. It has a nice woody bite to it. I unpacked it at practice and all I had to do was tune it! Yes, the trussrod needs a touch of adjustment, but I was surprised how well it played right out of the box. No buzzing or hissing electronics. I owned a Sheraton II Pro and couldn't keep it in tune. The Casino seems to hold tune quite well. I am so looking forward to playing live with this guitar. It is absolutely amazing! Most reviews of the Casino are in praise of it and now I can see why. Thank you everyone at Sweetwater for making this whole transaction painless and enjoyable.
Get yourself one!
Does Qatar believe it or not is built solid and it sounds wonderful. I put a stewmac rosewood Bone bridge on mine what a difference. I don't care for ABR Bridges they cause string buzz. Other than that absolute perfection.
