Fantastic, comfortable guitar for great price
I ordered my Casino Coupe on backorder and received it about 2.5 months later; it was worth the wait. I had it set up by Sweetwater, and it is pretty much perfect. The neck feels amazing - the frets are nice and smooth (smoother than my more expensive Nashville Tele, which I purchased elsewhere), and it's chunky but not too chunky. I was expecting the P-90s to be noisy, but they're… read more not at all; in fact, I think they might even be a little bit quieter than my Gen 4 Noiseless pups on my Nashville Tele. They also sound fantastic and give me the nice '60s British rock vibe I was looking for. I'm a smaller person, and this guitar is perfectly comfortable. I chose the Coupe over the regular Casino because the smaller body size appealed to me; I'm glad I made this choice. I feel that the guitar's tone doesn't suffer at all from the smaller size, and it is extremely lightweight and comfortable to hold while sitting or standing. I also never experience feedback with it despite playing loudly very close to my amp. In short, I love this guitar and am so happy I purchased it. The sunburst on it is beautiful, and the wood grain showing through it is stunning. Fit and finish on this Casino Coupe are what you'd expect on a much more expensive guitar. Just get it!
Finally got my Casino and finally started gigging again
Played a lot a shows this past summer and fall. Got a chance to put the Casino Coupe to work. A joy to play. From screaming leads to funky rhythm lines the Casino Coupe covers it all very nicely. Especially on some Freddy King type of blues leads. It takes a while to get the guitar into tune when outdoors or in bigger clubs, but once locked in you can really take off. Having played… read more a Tele for 50 years, having 4 knobs takes a little getting used to. The guitar has held up nicely ( I don't Pete Townsend windmill anymore). Thanks Sweetwater for this Sweet guitar!
Absolutely love this guitar!
I love this guitar! I have been shopping with Sweetwater for a few years and they always take the best care of me, and always send emails and make phone calls regarding my orders, to make sure everything arrived safely and that I'm enjoying my gear. The Epiphone Casino Coupe is a beautiful guitar and it has a nice bite to it. I run it through a Vox Mini SuperBeatle with a Wampler… read more Tumnus Deluxe for those great 1960s tones. Huge shoutout to my Sales Engineer Josh for everything you've helped me with!
Great Guitar
I have never owned a hollow bodied guitar. I learned about the Casino coupe when Gibson was doing their Epiphone give away. I have to say its great to see Gibson investing again in Epiphone. This is a really nice guitar it sounds and feels great to play. It will fit right in with Gibson Les Paul.
Wonderful instrument
I could not be happier with this purchase. The guitar came ready to play. I like the coupe size of this instrument over the standard Casino. It sounds fantastic and allows me to play all the styles I like; praise and worship, southern rock, a little country, folk-rock, and some jazz. Epiphone continues to impress. As always, Sweetwater provides the greatest service and prices.
