The Epiphone Les Paul ukulele is great! Built like a tank! Stays in tune. Love it!

Poor boy's chambered uke

I purchased this as a less expensive version of a chambered uke: for quiet practice and feedback resistance. (It is 1/3 the cost of Pono or Godin chambered ukes) The acoustic sound isn't the greatest, but after plugging the soundhole with cloth for the chambered effect, I think it improved the tone while lowering volume. (For looks, I also removed the pickguard.) Fit and finish read more are very good: Tuning machines are smooth, fret ends are polished, and the intonation is right on the mark (using Oasis "low G" carbon strings). Minor gripes: Marker on the 9th fret instead of the 10th. The output jack is on the lower bout treble side (where I rest the uke when seated). It's fun to play, the bound neck/fretboard feels really good; I'm glad I got it!
