Every Texan needs a Texan

I have been eyeing this guitar since I saw it come out. My wife went behind my back and worked with the team at Sweetwater, I have worked with Mac in the past and I believe that is who she worked with as well, and purchased this beauty for me for my 40th birthday. So far it has met all my expectations as I was deciding between this or a J45. I am very pleased with this instrument read more and look forward to the many years with it.

Gibson American Made Gem!

Highest quality construction and materials. Just an outstanding instrument...headstock says Epiphone, but this is a J-45 with a 25.5" scale, the scale length adds volume and clarity. Comfortable D shaped neck (not a ball bat), that I prefer to the modern C shape. A guitar for a lifetime.

MIRC Texan

My Texan is a MIRC instrument. I couldn't afford a new one lol. But i absolutely love it. The first quality guitar ive ever bought and im glad i waited. Sounds amazing. Holds tune like you wouldn't believe. Action is extremely easy. Almost like an electric its so easy to play. You won't regret coughing up the cash for an instrument of this quality. .

Great Gibson Made Guitar

Gibson has really upped their quality in 2019 and these new Made in Bozeman Texans are exceptional. The guitar has a fast D shaped neck that is reminiscent of their 90's J 200 necks. The tone has that classic J 45 thing going on, with more snap and volume. Single note fingerstyle is clean, using a capo gives you great note separation and clarity that the J 45's are known for. I read more compare it to a J 45 cause the bracing pattern is the same with a 25.5 inch scale length and neck shape being the only differences. I love this guitar, I've have had many to compare it to and this Texan is the only the second guitar I've had that I want to keep permanently. If you are hesitant cause it says Epiphone on the head stock, don't be. This guitar is all Gibson in all of it's glory and can be a lifelong companion. Overall the best guitar I have played for me.
