Lacking compared to other Fender bags

This bag is adequate but nothing more and seems overpriced for what it is. Big enough to fit my partsmaster Jaguar, but the padding and protection are minimal. Better than nothing if you're transporting to a gig or moving apartments, but I'd still be tempted to wrap a blanket around it. What's surprising is how much nicer the smaller/cheaper FE620 bag is. That bag won't fit a Jaguar read more but it is thicker and heavier, with added features like rubber bumpers. It's overall way nicer AND cheaper. I never would have expected such a big quality drop for this bag.

Just a bit more room please…

I bought this case for a Fender Jaguar and it is a nice case. Seems sturdy, well made… it's just a bit tight around the upper horn when you go to zipper it. Like another half inch would be nice fender. Just weird it doesn't quite fit right. It'll work though, and should last. As always sweetwater (thanks matt Christopherson!) was great!

Fits Like a Glove

I've had many guitars over my lifetime and have always gotten cases to keep them in. However, this is the 1st gig bag. All my others have been hard shell. I confess, I settled on this gig bag because there didn't seem to be a hard shell made specifically for my Starcaster. I'm pleasantly surprised with this bag. It's thinner than I'd imagined, but nonetheless sturdy with padding read more thick enough to offer real protection. The Starcaster (I have the Squire Affinity model) fits like a glove inside the case without out any pulling or tugging to zipper it up. The backpack straps are convenient. I wish I'd have had something like this years ago when I was actually taking my guitar places! All-in-all, I'm quite satisfied and recommend this gig back. Two thumbs up.

The bag is well made, fits well but is not as well padded as other 'Fender' bags I have purchasd.

FENDER JAGUAR/JAZZMASTER/STARCASTER GIG BAG

Last December I purchased a Squire Starcaster. I was told by Fender Customer Service that they did't make a gig bag for the Starcaster & I told them that they would probably sell more of them if they did. I kept it in an acoustic guitar gig bag. Recently, I purchased a Squire Telecaster with a Jazzmaster body. Whether I was going to eventually get a hard case for it, I knew I needed read more a gig bag & that's when I discovered this gig bag. It houses my Starcaster & will double as a gig bag for my Tele/Jazzmaster.
