Successful solo set
I had to pick up the uke when my index finger numbed out during a long guitar gig leaving me with three guys who need to be run around the track every day. So, index on the bench while the other 3 fingers find out about ukelele in limited keys. Gigs are slim for everyone and I didn't want to give up a solo slot at a show I've been involved with for 9 years minus 2 for Covid.… read more So I woodshed on the Fender Jazzmaster Ukelele and performed my set with it. The acoustic tone is rich and bright as one would expect, but when run through a big house sound system with subs - wow! The tone control offers a realistic sweep, the tuner & electronics are sweet, the uke stays in tune, and it looks awesome! Very pleased indeed!
"Very nice" -Borat
Made the upgrade from my previous starter uke. This one has a very complete sound to it across the neck. The slightly bigger&heavier body makes it easier to hold while playing. The built-in tuner is up to par with my clip on UniTune. The color is even better than the picture they provide. So far I don't have any complaints.
Great Uke - really fun!
Just received my Fender Fullerton Jazzmaster Uke in Tidewater. - Built: great finish, frets good, smooth. Really pretty and cool looking - Playability: really nice to play. The scale length is just like any other Uke, but the larger body and headstock make it feel more roomy. Frets are smooth and accurate; onboard tuner works well. - Sound: acoustically, it is not as loud as my… read more other Fender Uke (regular type), or my D'Angelico arch top Uke. But loud enough. Plugged into my Fender Tonemaster Deluxe Reverb - Uke tone control 1/2 way up, amp T=4, bass= 4, it sounds very natural. It will feed back so take care ... This Uke is a great value, in my opinion. It's just so cool. Thanks Fender and Sweetwater. (PS: it is made in China)
Cool, Cool, Cool
This is a great addition to the Fender line up. If you've never sat around and played blues runs on a Ukulele, you should try it. It's a fun little instrument that you can play just about anywhere. The Jazzmaster shape and iconic Fender head stock makes this a must for any Fender fan! The built in tuner is great, and you can even amplify this little sucker! I bought the Jazzmaster… read more Uke for the Olympic white color, but I love the looks of the Fullerton Strat and Tele Ukes as well.
