Of course a gig bag will never provide the the same protection as a hard shell case will. With that said This Fender gig Bag is really well made and will provide enough protect for what I need. I had a Strat previous to the one I just bought that I carried around in this very same model gig bag. I was playing in a local band at the time and my guitar never got damaged. Really nice case. Its put together nice... good padding. The zipper is very strong. I doubt it will ever go bad. Perfect for what I'm needing it for. Worth every penny.

Good bag for the price. Protects the guitar and is so lightweight. So much more maneuverable than a traditional hard case. Great for going up and down in a tight stairwell at one of the studios. It's very practical for grab and go purposes. I can throw it across my shoulder and have 2 hands free. Fits right in behind the front seat of my 2 door. It fits my strats and teles and like… read more style guitars. My small studio at home is out of room from so many guitar cases and this does not take up much room. The vintage tweed looks great also. Bought one for a relative and he loves it too.

This gig bag is of the top quality I would expect from Fender. It fits my squire strat perfectly. Shipping was lightning fast!! Definitely recommend this!
