Mesa Fillmore 2x12 cabinet rocks!
I have the Fillmore 50 head and had been running it through another brand 1x12 oversized cabinet. It sounded decent, but I always thought the amp was lacking in volume. I picked up the Fillmore 2x12 cabinet with the Celestion C90 speakers, and it brought my amp to life! Sound is louder and fuller, and for being open back, it has good low end. Get it!
Great Cab, Very Dynamic
I'm really happy with this cabinet. I was struggling to find something that would be small to go with a bias mini guitar head at 150 watts, 8 ohm, and ultimately went with this instead of something with less wattage. Very happy with the sound. It's very dynamic, less colorization than I expected from a Mesa Boogie. In fact, I was kind of wanting the Boogie for it's colorization… read more but the bias head can do so many sounds that this makes more sense. I also really like it's size. I was shooting for small and this is as close to small as you can get for a 2x12. The only thing I'd like, now that I have it is casters, because it's almost 70lbs, and feet on the side so it can be vertical. I use it vertical and place it on the cover it came with (which is a good cover to keep it clean). This is a great Mesa Boogie cabinet.
