Exactly as described in the description. For years I used to put a piece of foam behind the nut on my guitar to silence unwanted ringing and it worked. But it looked like trash. This does the same thing but has a professional, clean look to it. Works well. Sweetwater's customer service is the best out there. Have you ever been annoyed by pesky P bass string vibration when you dug in while playing? This is a great reason to get a fret wrap. This product does what it is designed to do. I have one on my bass and now I need one on all my axes. The unwanted overtones are gone. This is adjustable to get more dampening if you need it. Much easier to deal with than using weather stripping foam… read more at rhe bridge, socks or other stuff. This also looks good. Its not just for the recording studio use. I love my fret wrap. Another great Gruv Gear product is their fret wedge. These 2 things work great together and both are used on my bass. My guitars will have these ASAP. The Fret Wraps are available in other colors too. You can also get em in a 3 pack and in difference sizes to fit your axe. You need a fret wrap.

I love this product, it does everything it's reported to do and it makes my guitar look more professional than the hair bungee I was using. I should've gotten this an long time ago.
