Frets were more gross than I thought. Before and after polished frets.

A must have

I highly recommend Frine. I used it on my Charvel and my Ibanez RG Prestige and holy crap! So much stuff came off. And now my frets feel amazing. I started by using it on one fret and then felt the difference between the clean on uncleaned frets. The difference is so obvious. Like day and night. I'm going to use it on my PRS next time I change strings. Where has this been my whole read more life!?!?! My guitars feel like they are brand new again!

I Swear By This Stuff

Like the title says. I swear by this stuff. Never liked the idea of putting steel wool anywhere near any of my guitars. Frine is pretty much worry free as long as you use a fret guard and some painter's tape. I've used it several times and it has made the nastiest frets look brand new.

Awesome; Get Fretboard Guards

I've used this on multiple guitars now, and it works really, really well, and is easy to use. I decided to not go for the metal fretboard guards at first, and after haphazardly using the polish without them on my first go, I may or may not have made small smudge marks on an ebony fretboard by not cleaning excess polish fast enough- it's tough to tell, but save yourself the worry read more and get guards. After the first use, I bought the guards, used it again, and it saved 5 minutes of time, and was a much easier, low-stress process with really good results.

Better than steel wool and no mess!

I had used steel wool and masking tape for years for clean my frets and just had to deal with all the shavings and kept the shop vac handy. This stuff cleans the frets without any mess and you will be surprised how much grime it will cut thru! I used this on a friend"s bass that had never been cleaned and the frets were green! It cleaned them with no problem I use music nomad on read more everything I own! Best stuff ever!
