Great Case AND Great Customer Service from Gator!!!!

I've had this gig bag for two years now and it is a great case. The support for my guitar and the storage space for my computer and other gear is outstanding. I carry this bag with me to work (I'm a music teacher) and back home everyday and I love it. I'm actually writing this review, however, to give a shout out to the fantastic customer service at Gator Cases. Earlier this week,… read more the right backpack strap on my case broke. I checked Gator's website about warranty coverage and, apparently, this would fall under the category of general wear and tear. So, I was going to order a new strap from their parts store but couldn't find the right one listed. I emailed their customer service department and I received a reply the same day. The customer service rep, Alia DiLullo, told me that they no longer carried that particular kind of strap because they had changed the design on this case. She said that I could file a warranty claim by sending them a picture of the broken part and a copy of my original receipt (thank you Sweetwater for making that easy to find!). She got back to me today and said that she had reached out to their warehouse and found the strap I needed and was shipping it to me! Sweetwater of course has a reputation for great customer service but it is great to know that many of the manufacturers they deal with are equally fantastic companies. Thank you Gator Cases for a great product and customer service and, of course, thank you Sweetwater and my sales rep, Khaleed Matmati for outstanding service!

Great bag

I wanted a gig bag for my good acoustic. I really like the padding and support in it, plus all the extra storage. It's pretty light but sturdy.

Gator bags

This is my third Gator bag, a single and double electric bass bags and now an acoustic guitar bag. The quality is very good and they do stand behind their products, I had a problem with the single bass bag two years after the purchase date and Gator replaced the bag. I needed a Gig Bag for a Rare, Vintage, Acoustic guitar I have owned since 1977. My dilemma was I paid a lot of money for Prime membership on another online marketplace that carries the same item at the same price with free shipping. Sweetwater on the other hand provides personal and knowledgeable support from a live person. The Sales Engineer took the time to tell me the inner… read more dimensions as I was measuring the guitar confirming the fit. I had another obstacle though. If I ordered on the spot, the gig bag would arrive when I was away for the weekend (same delivery time as Prime). He instantly offered to have it shipped to the Walgreens very near my house. It was a great solution. With that he alerted me there was an open box item in perfect condition at a lower price. He explained that it was not the right size for the previous buyer's guitar, it was never used or flawed. so I accepted that. When I received the bag, it was clean and flawless. The fit was also perfect. I can see this gigbag is extremely durable and exceed my needs. It even comes with a rain cover. This made me realize that I really don't need to pay extra for Prime, so I set my Prime account to expire next month. It seems companies like Sweetwater have really raised the bar for online the Online Marketplace. I have also bough DAW software from Sweetwater. I often needed help, they always provided fast and expert service to help get me running again.
